Dr. Nurhayati Ali Assegaf

Dr. Nurhayati Ali Assegaf, M.Si., M.P. was a member of the People's Representative Council of Indonesia from 2004 to 2019. During her first term (2004-2009) Dr. Assegaf was appointed Special Staff to the First Lady of the Republic of Indonesia, and during her second term, she was appointed the Chairperson of Democratic Party Faction in the People's Representative Council of the Republic of Indonesia, and Deputy Chairperson of Democratic Party for 2013 - 2015. She was also the Chairperson of the Committee for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation of People's Representative Council of Indonesia. Alongside these duties, she is known as a strong proponent of women’s empowerment and gender issues. She is currently an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University (AHBV), Turkey. She obtained her Master Degree in American Studies from University of Indonesia and her Ph.D in Social and Political Sciences from Gadjah Mada Unversity.

Julia Gosse is a scientist and teacher, with a strong academic background and a sustained engagement in research. She holds two Master's degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience from the University of Geneva, where she developed a rigorous and analytical approach to contemporary issues. A Franco-Swiss national, she has been serving as a Municipal Councillor in the City of Geneva since 2025 and has been nominated as a candidate in consular elections for French citizens abroad. She is particularly engaged in advancing education and youth-related policies, with a strong commitment to inclusivity and sustainable, forward-looking development. Convinced of the importance of dialogue and collective action, she advocates for women's rights, social cohesion, and freedom of expression. She is also actively involved in solidarity-based and humanitarian initiatives.
