Ankara Haci Bayram Veli University (AHBV) is a public university in Turkey which was formed on 18 May 2018 by the separation from Gazi University. Gazi University is one of the earliest and biggest educational institutions in Turkey. Accordingly, Ankara Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences also continues its activities with the same highly qualified academic staff and physical facilities since it was opened in 1955. With nine faculties, three vocational schools, three colleges and a conservatory, AHBV is Turkey’s youngest but also the most experienced higher education institution.

The President of Geneva Council of International Affairs and Development (GCIAD), Dr. Nurhayati Ali Assegaf, was appointed as one of Associate Professors in the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences in AHBV. She visited the university for the first time in November, and was welcomed by the Rector of AHBV, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Tekin and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Kemal Gormez. As the first foreigner ever to be appointed Associate Professor in the faculty, she is committed to utilize her expertise and decades of first-hand experience in the subjects to contribute to the advancement of research and academics in the area of international affairs and political sciences.
